Week 8 : Reflections Word Processing

Dear Journal 

Here's hoping every had a productive week. In this weeks reflection I will share with you about the work we did in this week class of EDET.

The task to be completed was:
1. Go to page layout 
2. Select page borders and select the border (optional)
3. Add page colour (optional)
4. Add watermark
5. Go to custom watermark
6. Go to text watermark
7.Go to text and select an option.
8. Next insert page number 
9. Go to page layout,Select page breaks
10. Select next page
11. The page will be separated at this point
12. Select the next page and change number then highlight the number and page number.
13. Format the number using roman numerals

1. Select page layout
2.select orientation then select landscape,portrait 
3.next highlight the title of the processed document 
4. go to word art
5. Formulating of the name
6. Select the last page and go to insert, go to shapes,select insert shapes, select a shape and adjust shape then add a text.

Challenges faced

In completing this task I didn't face much challenges, but the only one was some how the entire blog disappear from my page and i had to redo the entire thing. Readers when I tell you I screamed I really screamed cause i worked really had on the first one and now to redo the entire thing.  

What did I learn?

In doing a word document for a presentation especially to a class it does not have to be boring, utilize the options given to enhance your presentation so you can keep the person or persons attention in your delivery. Students aggravate to things that a colorful and presented well. 

How will i implement what was covered, in the lesson in my classroom ?

If im teaching a upper grade class, lets say grade 4 or 5  and they are doing a project on natural resources i will definitely 

assist them in using processed document to present there project to the class in a more modern way not just plain by adding colour, changing the text etc so as they present their classmates are kept intrigued.
